Index Group launches the Betriebs-Assistent for small Swiss businesses

Zurich, 28 October 2026. Index Group AG launches the Betriebs-Assistent: a digital employee that works on a business's website and answers questions, books appointments and takes orders around the clock. It is run by WhatsApp. Monthly packages start at CHF 90.

What the Betriebs-Assistent is

The Betriebs-Assistent is made for bakeries, garages, farm shops, hair salons and other small businesses that want to be reachable in the evening without sitting by the phone themselves. It answers customers' questions in the chat on the website, in every language, and takes on one skill of the owner's choice: booking appointments, or taking orders with payment by TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay. On request it also answers calls on its own phone number.

How it works

It starts with the Index Check: 15 questions about the business, about 3 minutes, followed by a free 20-minute call. Index Group builds the assistant in advance. The handover takes place at the business and takes about an hour; payment is set up together.

From then on the owner runs the assistant by WhatsApp. One message is enough to change opening hours, prices or offers: small things are online at once, bigger ones usually within an hour, at the latest within 24 hours.

Prices

Setup costs CHF 990 once. Then there are three monthly packages:

• «Website», CHF 90 a month: the website runs and is backed up, small changes by WhatsApp as often as you like, one bigger change per quarter.
• «Mitarbeiter» (employee), CHF 190 a month: plus the Betriebs-Assistent in the chat, in every language, with one skill of your choice.
• «Mitarbeiter mit Telefon» (employee with phone), CHF 280 a month: plus voice and its own phone number, 300 minutes included.

All prices excl. VAT, cancellable monthly.

Try it
